it makes my thumbs ache

I'm sucking on a cough drop, high on Dayquil, watching "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" and painting with acrylics and a feather.

"Why go to the park and fly a kite, when you can just pop a pill?" ~Kramer

"It's bad luck to keep the feather of a black bird unless you can create something beautiful with it." ~me...

test the paper

I'm working with new materials. I saw on Etsy a guy is using tissue paper on his canvas.
Since I like to try different items on the canvas I figured it would be a great idea.
This is toilet paper and acrylic:

This is obviously the beginning stages of this painting. Stay tuned to see how it works out!

Also, hoping my friend Robert gets to come home from his surgery today.

in my cap

Trying out some ideas today.
Although I've had too much caffeine I find it easier to do fine lines with a feather I found in my driveway. Actually found a bunch. Looked like a bird exploded..

I have a few paintings ready for the auction block. I'll keep you updated.

so close to dinner time... bratwurst.

tundra

I was listening to a little music when AC/DC came on so I figured I would go outside to find some inspiration. (and get as far away from the music as possible..)
All I found was bitter cold and the will to go back in where I keep my food.

Slapin' some paint around today.

just one of many steps on this painting.
it has a long ways to go..
